It seems that someone has nominated me for Circle of Moms Top 25 Mental Wellness Blogs. I'm flattered for sure. Now I guess I need to get back to blogging right? (Trust me, I have A LOT of material to work into a blog post these days; if only I could find the time!)If you'd like to vote for me, I'd greatly appreciate it and say "Thank You!" in advance.

About this Blog
Motherhood brought with it challenges I never anticipated. That's how this blog started: with me admitting the road was rough. From there I've jumped around, gliding from topic to topic, sometimes with a fluid transition and other times a staccato hop. But no one ever said life was one smooth transition after another did they? Why should my blog be any different?
Disclaimer
Because of my personal experience, I often blog about postpartum depression. I do this in an attempt to share my story and reach out to others who may not understand this illness. I am in no way attempting to give medical advice. If you feel you may have the symptoms of PPD, please contact your doctor or other health care provider. If you feel like harming yourself or your baby, call 911 or a trusted source immediately.
I also often blog about Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD). These posts, and any other posts, are based on personal experience or to share relevant or interesting information. This blog is in no way inteded to provide medical advice. Should you think you or your child has SPD, please contact a medical professional.
I'm a wife, mother, postpartum depression survivor and advocate, former figure skater, coach, dance enthusiast, and closet pianist. I love reading and writing. I'm a combination of a WAHM and a SAHM - coaching part time and selling AVON on the side. Blogging is my latest venture... helping me learn about myself and others in a whole new way.
